The Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation 122A-2 must be docketed as a separate event and not as part of the petition packet. Individual Chapter 7 debtor/joint debtor with consumer debt is required to file a Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation.
If debtor is individual with business debt, this form is NOT required.
1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
2. Select Other/Misc.
3. Enter case number.
4. Ensure the case name and number match the document you are filing.
5. Select Docket Event: Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation (122A-2).
6. Select the check box if joint filing with another attorney/attorneys.
7. Select Party filer.
Pick [Debtor and or Joint Debtor name].
8. Browse and select document (PDF file) or scan document.
Attach supportive document, if applicable.
9. Select the “MEANSNO” or “MEANSYES for Presumption Arises.
10. Select “Amended” from the drop down list if Amended Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation (122A-2).
11. Verify final docket text before submitted onto case docket.
12. Review the Notice of Electronic Filing. It is your receipt.
