Note: Chapter 7 Trustee uses this event to employ professional on behalf of the estate.
1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
2. Select Trustee/US Trustee.
3. Enter case number.
4. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
5. Select Docket Event: Application for Approval of Employment of Professional on Behalf of Estate.
6. Select party filer from pick list.
Pick [Trustee name].
7. Do not check box to relate trustee and attorney.
8. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file, SDIa-300).
Attach supportive documents, if applicable.
9. Enter name and profession of person being employed: Example: John Doe, Trustee Attorney.
10. If you did not add the party being employed and profession, use your browser Back button and enter the party name and profession.
11. Select “Amended” from drop down list if Amended Application.
12. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
13. Review the Notice of Electronic Filing. It is your receipt.
