Note: This is a docket text only docket event.
Use this docket event when you have a conflict and the case needs assignment of another trustee.
1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
2. Select Trustee/US Trustee.
3. Enter case number.
4. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
5. Select Docket Event: Resignation of Trustee.
6. Select party filer from pick list.
Pick [Trustee name].
7. Select the trustee no longer associated with the case
Pick [Trustee name].
8. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
9. Review the Notice of Electronic Filing. It is your receipt.
The court assigns a new trustee and generates an Amended Meeting of Creditors notice.
