Motion for Relief from Order

Note: Use this docket event for a Motion to Reconsider.

To request reconsideration of an Order on a Claim use the docket event: Motion for Reconsideration of Order on Claim.

1. Select Bankruptcy or Adversary menu.

2. Select Motions/Applications.

3. Enter case number.

4. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.

5. Select Docket Event: Relief from Order.

6. Check box if joint filing with another attorney.

7. Select party filer.

Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party.

8. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file).

Attach supportive documents, if applicable.

9. Select appropriate category to search for related document – Motion and Order.

10. Select appropriate document (docket text).

11. Is this to reconsider a Dismissal Order? Select y or n.

Note: This information is required!

12. If you did not select y or n a warning message will appear: "You must make a selection on the preceding page-click on browser back button to correct."

If Action Canceled or Page Expired appears when you click Back button Start Over!!

13. Verify the final docket text before submitting onto case docket.

14. Review the Notice of Electronic Filing. It is your receipt.
