Note:  Use Motion for Relief from Chapter 13 Codebtor Stay for Chapter 13 co-debtor filing Motion for Relief from Stay.

When the PDF document is a Motion for Relief from Stay and in the Alternative Motion for Adequate Protection, docket the Motion for Relief from Stay and a Motion for Adequate Protection.

Keystrokes

1.  Select Bankruptcy menu.

2.  Select Motions/Applications.

3.  Enter case number.

4.  Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.

5.  Select Docket Event:  Relief from Stay

6.  Check box if joint filing with another attorney.

7.  Select party filer.

• Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party.

8.  Does this motion include in the Alternative Motion for Adequate Protection?

• Pick No or Yes.

• Yes - Remember to docket the Motion for Adequate Protection after completing this docketing process.

9.  Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file).

• Attach supportive documents, if applicable.

• Warning Message appears:

• Filing Fee is required immediately upon the filing of this document.  Failure to pay this fee before the end of the day will result in the SUSPENSION of CM/ECF e-filing access until all outstanding filing fees are paid in full.

10. Enter payment information.

• Attorney filer:  Select Pay now or Continue Filing.

The court prepares the Notice of Bar Date and serves the Notice of Bar Date via the Bankruptcy Noticing Center.
