Chapter 7 Trustees use Motion to Reopen Case and Request to Defer Filing Fees event in the Trustee/US Trustee category.
The United States Trustee uses this docket event and insert Exempt in Receipt # box.
The debtor uses this dicket event and enters waived in the Receipt # box if the Application to Have Chapter 7 Filing Fee Waived was approved.
Note: If the case is not imaged, there are additional fees due for retrieval of the file from the archives.

1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
2. Select Motions/Applications.
3. Enter case number.
4. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
5. Select Docket Event: Reopen Case - Chapter 7.
6. Check box if joint filing with another attorney.
7. Select party filer.
Party filer not listed, Add/Create New Party.
8. Browse, verify and attach the document (PDF file).
Attach supportive documents, if applicable.
Warning Message appears:
Filing Fee is required immediately upon the filing of this document. Failure to pay this fee before the end of the day will result in the SUSPENSION of CM/ECF e-filing access until all outstanding filing fees are paid in full.
9. Enter payment information.
Do not enter a receipt # if you will be paying via the Internet.
If Reopen Fee is exempt: Enter Exempt.
United States Trustee: Enter Exempt.
Application to Have Chapter 7 Filing Fee Waived granted: Enter Filing Fee Waived.
If you are reopening this case based upon an alleged violation of the terms of the discharge under 11 U.S.C. 524, enter EXEMPT in the receipt field.
10. Verify the final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
11. Review the Notice of Electronic Filing. It is your receipt.
